INF file txtsetup.sif corrupt or missing

Im confused, what folder are you going to put it in? you receive this error as its installing right? Does it give you a retry, abort , ignore error? how long into the install does this happen, right away, 10 minutes, after the serial number?

Right away. After POST, it will read the CD, and then yield this issue. It says press any button to continue, and if I press any button, it just reboots.

So I was thinking of importing this txtsetup file on my other computer. And then taking it back to this fresh rig and try again.

pm if you want a copy of the answer files you need

there should be 3 or 4 on the disk

just a thought, the disk you are using, is it a Windows XP disk (as in copy legal or otherwise) or a restore disk (a are issued with some prebuilds)

It's a copy, I believe a copy of a legal disc.
