Default IEXPLORE.EXE - Bad Image

Whenever I click on the IE icon, it popup a box alert.

The box says : The application or DLL C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\SHDOCVW.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

How to fix this problem? This makes me can't use IE to browse the pages.

Hello,

Go to start, then run, and type sfc /scannow then hit enter. It is a system file checker.

You will probably need to have your Windows XP installation cd in the cd drive.
