IE7 not running

Hey all, I reacently downloaded the IE7 beta 2. It installed correctly, but after I rebooted and tried to run IE7 it just popped up the window for a split second and then closed it automatically. It didnt even stay around long enough to load the interface graphics. Has anyone else had this problem?

I use Firefox for the most part, but some things still need IE and I would like to have the most up-to-date version available for use.

Well IE7 is actualy meant for windows Vista and puts a compatability patch in XP to work. You patch may have been deleted or something.

Any idea how to reinstall that patch? I tried uninstalling IE7 then I got the beta 3, which oddly enough seems to have been released last night, and installed it. Unfortunatley, it still didnt work. What services do you need running to make IE7 run?
