IE opens smaller

Whenever I click on a link to my mail or something, sometimes my IE window will open smaller. (This is on my grandma's computer she wants me to fix it). Does anybody know how to make every window opened in IE maximized immediately?

Haha I was gonna just give my grandma instructions of how to do that over the phone, but she might get a little lost with that, lol. Thank you very much!

Go to the Internet explorer icon and right click on it. Click on properties at the botoom of the menu. On the tab that says shortcut, pull down the menu next to RUN and choose the size you want it to open in. its just a different way to do it.

I tried that, but when I clicked on a link in IE and it opened a new window, it opened small.
