IE Icon Change

I have a stupid question.

How do you change the desktop internet explorer icon.

I can change all the others from right-clicking ont the desktop and going through display properties etc., but it will not let me change the ie icon.

I just downloaded some new ie icons and would like to use them

right click ie, go to properties, change icon

I do right click on ie on the desktop and I do select properties, but that gives me options like general, security, etc.

plus my homepage address selection

I've looked under every heading, can't find change icon
