I have the History page in internet explorer set to 1 day. But is it possible to just stop IE from remembering anything? I really prefer to show nothing I've viewed anywhere in the history. It even keeps track of the multiple gmail accounts I have opened which is annoying as well.

Any help is appreciated.

Set it to Zero. That way when you close IE it should erase everything.

The Gmail thing is becuase it remembers cookies.

Thanks, Makaveli. I set that to zero, easy enough.

I see the cookies settings, do these need to be enabled for most web functions? The web page history was the most annoying to me, and that should be fixed by setting the history to 0, but if I can disable the cookies without any side effects I'll do it.

Well if you have sites that you visit that you have to log into, turning the cookies off will not allow IE to remember them. If i am not mistaken i think there is a way to stop tehm from being accepted at some sites. I cant check right now as i am within Ubuntu.

If anything Just clear your cookies and the cookies settings. Then just make sure when you log into GMail you dont save those cookies.
