I note the imminent version of Internet Exploere 10 Does anyone kow if this will be a direct upgrade or wether IE9 will need to be uninstalled first
 
You won't need to uninstall IE9. Keep in mind it's only a Beta at the minute and probably won't be fully released for several months at least.
 
Yeah, MS are trying to speed up their release schedule to similar levels of the other browsers.

Already posted in the forum dedicated to Internet Browsers. The IE10 Preview is exactly like the IE9 Preview was. You get to use it with their Test Drive site and see various actions the browser can perform. You get nothing else. No address bar, no favorite bar, no RSS feeds nothing. You can only go to 1 site by going under Page>Open and any link you click will open your default browser. It is a preview only. It is not a Beta, it is not taking over for IE9 it is not anything that you think.
