Ibm 600e

I have an IBM 600E laptop that I last used in July, 2004. Since then it's been sitting on the dinning room table. Today I go to use it and it won't power-on at all. I tried 3 different power supplies and nothing. The power supplies are good because I was able to use them on another 600E and they all worked. I swithced hard drives with another 600E and the laptop would boot-up. Does any one have an answer as to why today the laptop will not power on?

you may need to let it charge for a while...if the batteries are completely dead, then it may need to have somewhat of a charge.

Does it even make an attempt to start? or just sit there?

nothing, no power at all. I left if pluged in all night and still nothing.
