Default I think windows is going downhill for me

lately, alot of wierd error messages have popped up saying explorer.exe needs to close, ccAPP.exe or something like that did not shutdown. Photoshop doesnt open, and I cant install half life it says
C\Windows\system32\autoexe.NT cannot launch in DOS or something like that. It seems like its getting worse, could I have possibly messed up or deleted parts of windows from running tons of spybot/adaware stuff and removing alot of programs/ending the processes. What should i do. I am thinking of buying a external HD enclosure and making an External HD, backing up everything then formatCing

This happened to me a while back. Get a hold of a new AUTOEXEC.NT file (from a friend or from the net) and copy it to your C:\Windows\System32 directory.

I had the same problem, I downloaded them off the net.

If your operating system is Windows XP Professional click on this link. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/spencer...XPProfiles.exe

If your operating system is Windows XP Home click on this link.
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/spencer...PHomeFiles.exe

If your operating system is Windows 2000 click on this link.
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/spencer...g/W2kFiles.exe

its a self extracting file and will replace the necessary files!
