Unhappy I have some Windows Media Player issues...

If WMP keeps crashing and is frequently sluggish when playing media files, is there a way to find out where the problem lies? Many a time I try to open a DVD (.iso file emulated with Daemon) or basic .avi or .mpeg only to have WMP crash and close itself. This is really annoying.

It's Windows Media Player. I frequently reinstall windows on my machine every couple of months and windows media player never fails to go corrupt. I can't tell you how to fix it but i can tell you that Winamp is a much better program that plays the same files.
