I have/had a virus that came and royally screwed up my computer, and I'm wanting to start over from scratch. However, as you can see from the title of the thread, no recovery CD came with the machine. I tried to use my system restore that is on the computer, but according to that a component was removed and it doesn't work(if i try to access it through the help and support button), or it shows a calendar asking me to which date I'd like to return to, but there are no dates prior to the virus that I can return to(there was before, so my guess is this virus deleted them, as it also screwed up other things such as my antivirus program McAfee). Any ideas would be listented to and appreciated.
I have no recovery CD, how do I reformat?
