Angry I HATE WINDOWS 98!!! (dial-up networking)

What the hell is wrong with dial-up networking? I connect DSL using connection manager but many times when I surf, this window pops up saying "dial-up connection not found, to continue working online click try again or work offline". I've checked the IE settings (Tools>Internet Options>Connections TAB) for the dial-up connection but there ARE NO dialup connections. "Never dial a connection" is selected but GREYED out... I've fixed this before but I dont remember, can someone please assist??

hmm sounds like a porn dialer. Do you have an antivirus and antispyware program?

Get hyjack this and run it. Before you do anything post in the spam spyware section with the log file and ask for help.

its greyed out because there are no dialup connections present. I use a connection manager to connect via DSL

Try using a free trial of Spysweeper 4.0 or Microsoft's Anti-Spyware Beta tool to scan for anything.
