I.E 3043 error

HI,

When accessing IE i receive an error msg: runtime error 3043- disk or network error.

I have replaced the temp folder and cleared cookies

any help would be appreciated.thnx in advance

So as soon as you open IE, this error appears? Have you tried it with another browser to see if it isnt browser related?

no..i cant really install another browser as its a business machine.

From what i have read about the 3043 error it is either a network error or the hard disk is failing. I would check onto it some mroe and see if the network is alright (i assume it would be since it is a business machine). Then run chkdsk to see if everything is alright with the hard drive.

The network is fine....I will try the chkdsk and a repair of IE. I read an article that said for applications that produce this error, reinstall or repair them as they are corrupt.
