Exclamation I can't write a CD!!!

I was putting knoppix on a CD-RW (80 min, 700MB Staples) but when I go to write it it says please insert a CD-RW into dive G which is my burner and where i have the CD-RW I tried 3 different ones Whats the problem? Then I tried movies and it didn't work for CD-RWbut the worked 4 movies on CD-R

Can you still read CDs normally in the drive?

Have you tried using CD-RWs before this?

what kind of burner are you using? some cheap or new one sometimes don't recognize other media. a filmware upgrade will fix the latter's problem.

what burner are you using?

Are you positive that your burner supports CD-RW?
