I can't use Ctrl+Alt+Delete...

I'm having problems with my laptop running Windows XP Home...when I press Control+Alt+Delete, I don't get the regular menu with the options to log off, restart, etc. Instead I get this menu that I suppose is a replacement for the Task Manager that only allows me to either disconnect or logoff the current user...what could be the problem and how cand it be fixed? Could this be in conjunction with a Explorer.exe application error I've been getting that prevents me from opening Windows Explorer...gheez, I hate this. Thanks for the help in advance...

hmm never tried this but doubt it would help... are u the admin on that windows account? if ur not.. then that MIGHT be why... not being the admin on windows cuts back ALOT of options....what i mean is that since ur not the admin u might not be able to see what apps are running and decide what apps to end...
