I can't unlock the taskbar

I have Windows XP Professional and I can't unlock the taskbar.

When I right click the taskbar, the "Lock the Taskbar" is checked. I can't uncheck it.

When I got to properties and uncheck "Lock the Taskbar", I hit Apply and then OK. But the taskbar is still locked. It doesn't work.

What's going on? Anyone?

Is it greyed out or can you change it?

It's not greyed out. It just doesn't unlock.

I figured it out.

My Kaspersky Internet Security was locking it. I didn't even realize it did that.
