I am running Serv-U for an FTP server I have set up, But I want an http server also to run a temp site, till i have the cash to buy hosting. Please advise on a good program for that.
Apache. download it at www.apache.org and if you php or SQL support, download it all as a batch from www.appservnetwork.com . if you have a good enough upload speed, you don't even need to pay anyone for hosting. host it from your pc!
I have downloaded it and am looking @ the help file. But it really isnt Helping me that much. Could someone explain the installation process for Apache??? Im on XP BTW.
