Hallo to Everybody!
Since some Days I have a new HP PSC 750 (All-in-One). My other AiO (Lexmark X75) I sold, because I need a compatible Printer for Linux. And now the BUT:
Under WindowsXP the printer was working with the XP-Drivers, BUT since after installing the new HP-Drivers for WinXP, the Color-Refillpatrone is no more accepted !! I was deinstalling the Driver again, was completely newinstalling WinXP; and tried to work with the Printer under Linux... but the Problem was not solved...
My thought is, that the PSC has an built-in Memory (some kind of BIOS), which is now "infected" with the "new" HP-Driver.
QUESTIONS:
1) Is my thought going in the right direction?
2) If Yes: Can I do a "formating/clearing" of the built-in Memory, so that these "new" Drivers are gone? And how?
3) Does anyone have another Idea?
This would be GREAT !!!
With kind regards
willy
