How to use xp theme?

i have an .msstyle that is royale 5 color mod.

when i double click on that, it does not show me the theme. i tried to create a theme file with notepad but windows says that it's not a valid win32 applicaiton.

any help?

Are you talking about the media center 2005 royale theme?

Are you using XP Pro and are trying to alter the system to use the MCE2005 theme?

the file is bigger than the limit, the file royale.zip linked by therecluse, is only in one color, that's what i already have, i need to ue the five color one.

i had that problem too, you need to go deeper into the installed directory...

i said to install in C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes but it actually went to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\Resources\Themes\Royale
