How to uninstall directx

hey guys i was wondering how to uninstall directx i think its causing me problems with counter strike source. TIA.

i tried it and it doesnt work because i have sp2 and cant roll back to 8.1 but the problem started occuring after i installed bf2 and it installed directx

tried that. didnt work it made it so i couldnt reinstall directx so im just formatting right now. thanx.

I use XPlite 1.8.. its the latest version and you can use it to remove almost anything from XP and 2000. Go to litepc.com. Cost me $40, but its VERY worth it.
