I'm in the middle of the process of upgrading my wife's PC to a faster one.

I'm trying to get the Email Folders/Messages from her old PC transfered to the new PC.

The two computers are NOT networked, so I can't do the File Transfer Wizard thing.

In the past, I was able to copy/paste .dbx files into the Outlook Express folder located here....

C:\Documents and Settings\Karen\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{A88ECE78-9FE8-4683-8061-C97A995E4A56}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

For some reason when I copied/pasted the .dbx files, Outlook Express will NOT recognize them.

Should I swap in the .PST files instead ???

What do I need to do to get these old Outlook Express Folders/Messages to reappear on the new PC ??

pst files work great. you can burn them or email them. use them all the time.
Roger that.

On the new PC here, Outlook Express doesn't have a Folder for pst files. WTF ???

I'm going to run a Search now....
