how to split the dvd movie

recently i bought i dvd movie (saving private ryan deluxe edition),..when i analized it, it was copy into a DVD9 ....i just wanna burn it in 2 dvd disc (i dont wanna burn it in 1 disc..the quality is low...)...
how can i made it with DVD shrink or DVD decrytper..or other program....

get www.ifoedit.com.

after rip it with your ripping program, open the main .ifo file of that movie with ifoedit. make sure you associate your ifo files with ifoedit (choose the 'open with' option, the head to your ifoedit.exe icon, then choose 'always open with this program' )

head to the split to 2 disc option.

when you are finish, burn it with your burning program

How can you tell if the quality is low? I use dvd shirnk with nero and I cant tell the difference between the two movies.

shrink is horrible at shrinking a movie longer than 6.5 gigs. instantcopy is a better option for longer movies, although it takes longer to do it
