how to set default programs

There are these things called 'magnet links' which seem v similar to torrents but technically i think are different. When I click on them they have now started opening in a program that I dont want to use. I want them to open in qbittorrent.

I went to Default Programs. But don't see any kind of torrent viewer there, so don't know what to do next. I'd have expected there would be a bunch of file types there and I could associate a program with the file type. But that's not the options available.

Open up qBittorrent, click Tools at the top left, choose Options. On the Behavior tab scroll down until you see the File Association heading. Make sure to check the boxes for both .torrent and magnet links, then click Apply.
