how to reformat ASAP

how do i reformat a nec with windows 98 i dont have the main cd that came with the computer but i have a 98 cd from a different pc will it work and how do i reformat help me out asap

how do it do that bc i tried earlier and EVERYTHING is still on the pc from before what did i do wrong

You have to delete the partiton then format it, then install windows.

What you did is just reinstall.

put the CD into the CD-ROM

boot from the CD

delete the partition

format the drive

install win98

^^^^^ you do all this when you boot from the CD
