My iTunes folder appears to have gotten corrupted - some songs appear duplicated in iTunes, and if I delete one of the two versions of a song, the other one gets an exclamation mark.

Also, even though iTunes accepts video files, they are no longer transferred to my 160GB iPod classic.

I want to rebuild a fresh iTunes folder containing all my songs, without having to pay again for the songs I bought. I know the easiest way is to burn them to CDs, but was wondering if there is an easier way.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

The best thing to do I would think would be to delete everything out of your iTunes library and then go to your My Music folder and go through that and delete duplicate songs you may see and arrange how you would like.. After you got all of that done, open iTunes and then drag the songs from your Music folder onto itunes and it should sort them back out and you shouldnt have any of the "!" marks if you already deleated your Duplicate songs.

Hope this helps!
