Default How to Kill wisptis.exe ?????????????

A method to cease this process is to romove a great many
registry entries..
Any easier way ???
A real thorough nuisance

(In general, the ways in which wisptis.exe can get installed on your system:
installing Journal Viewer via Windows Update
installing Microsoft Office 2003
Adobe reader...)

Just remove the Hotfix you installed...unless it's part of a SP. http://tinyurl.com/66bkw Then you are stuck with it. Liz

WISPTIS.EXE is a product which is installed alongside Microsoft office or comes packaged with Windows update. This process deals with 'Windows ink services' and tends to run alongside Adobe Acrobat Reader. This program is non-essential process to the running of the system, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.

If you are using the Adobe reader, you can't uninstall it. You are using it. Liz

It says what it is here and not to remove it, why are you trying to remove it?

Is this part of the cause for the annoying windows office installer popping up when opening adobe acrobat files or intel active monitor?
