Lemmie try to take your implementation to my 2 Drives, 1*120, 1*80.

On 80gb Seagate:
65gb OS/Programs
5gb Swap
10gb Other Stuff (eg ISO's for Imaging, downloads)

On 120gb Maxtor:
5gb Swap
115gb Media (movies/music)

that will work. but in your virtual memory setting, set your memory to no paging file on your first hard drive

You only need the swap on one drive. And it only needs to be about 3-4gigs if you have 1gig of ram. I have mine at 4 gigs with 1 gig of ram. Better safe than sorry.

I would set the minium and the maxium both to 1280

If your ram is not dual channel I would up that to 2046 mb to be safe.

question, when you say "swap" is that the "unpartitioned" area windows xp needs a minimum of 8 mb for?
