How to import dates into outlook calendar?

How do you import a list of dates from excel (or similar) to outlook, and/or create a vcf so that friends can do similar.

I have seen instructions to use .pst, to copy from pc to pc, but this copies emails & contacts too.

Copying of single events in calendar, sends them all individually, not ideal if many.

Please point me somewhere to else to look if no help here....

Thanks, but not quite what I want to do, or asking for.
I want to "create a vcf", from a selection of dates in outlook, so thatit can be imported into other people outlook.
And be able to import a list of dates from software, e.g. excel.

assuming 2007 or greater,

to export and send, i would click calendar in outlook, then perform a search (in upper right), and then click and drag the item to a new email.

if 2003 or lower, complete the export function but only select the calendar folder for export.
