how to get my resolution back

ok so I have 7 on on hdd and XP on another and I have 2 monitors working just dandy with 7 but couldn't get it to work on XP so I was tinkerin around one day tryin to get it to work and I accidently set the resolution to sumthin that now both my monitors wont support.... just a black screen... n e easy way to change it?

Boot into Safe Mode on both OS's one at a time and change the resolution to something it will support.

boot into VGA mode. F8 during start up, VGA mode.

that'll put you in at 640x480, you can then change the resolution setting to what works.

Err yeah, VGA mode is what I meant lol. Used to saying Safe Mode.
