How do you merge distribution lists in Outlook?

I could easily create a new distribution list and just select the other two distribution lists in Contacts.. but I end up with two distribution lists inside that new distribution list.

What I want is to have every single contact listed from both distribution lists into that new one.. so I can just update the new one as members get added/dropped, instead of having to go to each distribution list and creating a new one every time we update.

I hope I didn't make it sound confusing.

if you are linking a DL to another, it should automatically update withe any changes from the other...

What version of Outlook are you using?
