if using broadband login to your router configuration setup. find your internal IP address for the machine using DC++. in the port forwarding setup enter that IP and open a port number for both UDP and TCP (ex 1674 UDP, 1674 TCP). in DC++ configurations enter that port number for TCP and UDP. if you used differrent numbers for each than enter them. TCP and UDP dont need to be the same port. you can goto your router config and get your external IP adress or goto whatismyip.com to get it. enter that into DC++. see picture attached:
