How do i use my digital camara as a web cam?

I have a sony cybershot digital camara and i was wondering if there is any software out there, which can convert my camara into a webcam.

plug the camera into the usb port, then on the camera itself, there should be a webcam mode or movie mode. Try to set the camera to one of those modes, then try again.
P.S. Make sure that you have installed the camera to the computer via install cd.
