This is what my WHOLE Bios looks like:

(Doesnt acutally have #)

1. Main
2. Adv
3. Power

4. Boot

->Boot Device Priority
1st Boot Device - PM-ST3800A1A
2nd Boot Device - SS-Sony CD-RW CRX2
3rd... - 1st Floppy Drive

->CD Rom Devices
1st Drive - SS-Sony CD-RW CRX2
2nd Drive - SM Sont DVD Rom DD

-> Boot Setting Config. (Not sure if to list of stuff here)

-> Security

On this part:

->Boot Device Priority
1st Boot Device - PM-ST3800A1A
2nd Boot Device - SS-Sony CD-RW CRX2
3rd... - 1st Floppy Drive

Set it to boot from CD...

Save and Exit

Let it reboot

While it's rebooting

When it reads "press any key to boot from cd...."

Hit any key a few times and you should be on your way....

You seem set that device to that? If thats what you mean, i can only select disable, floppy or the other CD device.

try other cd device then....do you have a digital camera that you can take pictures of your bios page by page and post them on here? what manufacturer is your bios and what version?

Go to START>ALL PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>SYSTEM TOOLS>SYSTEM INFORMATION and copy and past the System Summary. You shouldn't have to click anything. Should look something like this:

Select the appropriate drive icon (Pri Master, Pri Slave, Sec Master, or Sec Slave). Choose the Type parameter and select CDROM. You can boot the computer from a CD-ROM drive. You can also choose Auto and let AMIBIOS will automatically set the correct drive parameters
