Default How do I format aHP 14 Gig Travan Data Cartridge

My HP 14 Gig Travan Data Cartridge apparently has some errors. I would like to format the tape but am unable to find an option to do this, as the only way I can see this unit/media is when I start a back-up job with my Backup program or go to the device manager in Win2000.
I am using (Stomp Backup My PC) other wise I cannot find a format option. Thanks in advance

Send a message via MSN to office politics

you may need to use the drive manufacturer's app or get an app that formats tapes. i didnt see a manual for your software tho.

or try using ntbackup which is included with windows

To format a tape - ms xp product docs
