How do I change a folder icon in ME?

I have some folders that I want to have different icons. I have some .ico files that I would like to use but I cant even find out where to change the icons.

I am using Windows ME.

There are registry hacks for this but at the moment....I cannot find them.

I use a freeware called "Icon Phile" and it does the job. Search on Google for it and you will find some D/L sites.
