Question How do i bypass a firewall?

I am a student at the University of Texas at Arlington and the school has a firewall that blocks all file sharing programs. I have been told that there are ways to go around the firewall, but i need help. There may be a few ports left open, but im not even sure if thats the problem. I have WinMX and eMule right now, however i am flexible about the software i use, as long as it works well. If anyone knows how to bypass the firewall so i can resume downloading files, i would appreciate it. Thanks
Shawn
