How can I network a HP iPaq

My friend has recently bought an HP iPaq something or rather. Is it possible to network this with a computer so that they two can share and receive files like two normal PCs would. Both the devices we are trying to connect have wireless network capabilites.

i think you have to setup a wireless network connection through windows xp. Do you have XP on both?
