How can I make logos?

Howdy!

At our youth group we have just had a competition to create a logo for it. Now I have to digitalise it. It the chosen logo/s were easy to recreate I could do it, however some of them contain random curves etc.

Is there a way or some software or something that would allow me to recreate these logos on the computer, or scan them and edit them or something? And perhaps, later on, animate them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :D See, how can you resist my big smile!

Well if you just want to scan a logo that is on paper or something you need to have a scanner. But if you want to create a whole new one than I would suggest getting a graphics editing program. Maybe download the trial version of Jasc Paint Shop pro

If you're on an unlimited budget, try Adobe Photoshope, they're are also Linux equivelences (sp) that do just as much, if you're runnin' Linux :)

Download and install GIMP, it's an open source image editor, it's free and it's a great program.
