I have Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit. How can I make unallocated space in my hard drive in order to install Linux. So when I install it, the free space will show up and I will have two operating systems. Will it ask me which operating system I want to boot with.? If all goes well. I'm going to try to install Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard which I just recently purchased for $50.

well you can use gparted to change and add partitions for your linux install.

If you plan on installing OSX on a non Apple computer keep in mind that it is illegal and will not be supported here.

I know. I have Mac with Windows. Is there any other alternative than using bootcamp. It is brutle. GParted is the only partition maker. I thought you could go into device manager and edit partitions?
