How can I format my windows XP?

How can I format my windows XP? I have the original windows xp cd.

For a clean install, you would need to boot up your computer from CD, delete the old partition, (keep any partitions you are using for other stuff), create a new partition and install windows xp on it, if you would like to do a basic install, just put in the CD and start reformatting

Here is a website showing how to do a clean install. If you have seperate partitions for music, etc., only delete the one with windows on it, so your music or whatever on the seperate partition can be saved.

It's easy just boot up with the XP cd in your system.

Then go to install when it promts you


and hit "d" then "l" on all of the partitions

Then hilight unpartitioned space and hit "c"

Choose format using NTSF

done!
