Default How can I delete desktop backgrounds completely?

I set a picture as my background but quickly removed it because I don't want my girl to see a picture of a half-naked model on my computer. The problem is that even though I changed backgrounds the picture is still in the file along with all the others backgrounds that came with windows xp. When I right click to try to delete it, it just says "What is this?" and I can't figure out how to get that picture off my system. The odds are slim that she will go through there and see it but I don't want to take any chances.

ramses1982,

The backgroud picture will be in the 'windows' folder. Search and delete it.

Delete the picture where ever you had it saved. It might also be in the temp folder.

What version of windows? If it's xp, and NOT a Dell or HP, I can tell you exactly were it is. Liz
