Ok, so through school I've downloaded a 3GB+ copy of Vista 64bit, probably the only useful thing my 6k of tuition will get me. The problem is that I can't burn an .iso that is bigger than 2gb in nero (might be my old version?)....what to do? Suggestions?

Hello,
Make sure you're using Nero Burning ROM, and that you are opening the image file and burning it:
Nero Burning ROM Main Windows > Recorder menu > Click Burn Image... > Locate and select the .iso file and burn it.
If it still doesn't work, use an alternative program like CDBurnerXP to burn the image file to DVD.

There are plenty of applications that can do it. CDBurnerXP and ImgBurn are free to use. Also very easy. I have to update teh CDBurnerXP guide listed there to represent the latest version but it is quite simple to do.
