How to automatically delete a file on creation?

Can anyone help me?
I need some way of monitoring a folder for a creation of a certain file.
If this file exists I want it to be automatically deleted.

Is there a way to do this?

operating system is windows server 2003.

i would try to create a powershell script to scan the folder and delete the file. task scheduler can be set to run the script every X minutes.

If the file is being used by another, or the same, application then you may have problems deleting that file and your program will possibly crash.
