Today I found out by coincidence that my hosts file is missing or atleast not visible.
Also I can't see the map it is supposed to be in, the system32/driver/etc map. I tried creating a new one but it said such a named map was already present. I know this hosts file redirects any localhost ping to your own pc so i tried that and it worked perfectly.
My question is how can I let windows show the /etc map again?
