Default home or pro for laptop


ive herd that when i run winxp on a laptop, its better to use home, over pro

is this true?

i was told about power needs of a laptop or sumthin

can someone clear this up

Do you need the advantages that Pro has? E.g. networking/administrative options.

Pro also has the option were it is legal to put the same copy with the same code on a desktop and a laptop at the same time.

dont think i need em

is home better for laptops?
as in r there features on it that are better suited on laptops?

i prefer pro on my laptop why? no idea it makes the task bar silver instead of blue which i like better but thats the only reason i like it better plus it boots up saying "professional" instead of "home edition"
