Home & Pro key's??

Will my xp pro cd work with a home ed key?

My father in-law's home cd is so scratched up it won't install,So i thought maybe i could use my pro to get him up and just pop in his key

The Pro serials are different than the Home Serials. So it is correct that the Pro will not work with Home.

Got my hand's on another copy of home so i guess it dosen't matter now
