Default History Check

I've been wondering this for some time now.

In the past, (ok...still on occasion) I view unmentionables.

My name is BavarianWheels... Ok nm.

Anyway, I'm honestly trying to stay away from it. I want to "clear" my computer of all knowledge of it.

Is there a way to do so?

if you use IE, just go tools IE options. Delete history, delete temp internet files, delete cookies.

Then u will need an app to get rid of all the crap that gets downloaded with it. Download Spybot Search & Destroy. Its freeware!

if you want to see whats physically there:

c:\documents and settings\user_name\location settings\
history\ -urls
temporary internet files\ - pics and stuff

window washer is an app which will do all this for you.. clears your recent porn movie views in wmp, etc.

This is Linux country. If you listen carefully, you can hear Windows reboot...

depending on how serious u r on getting rid of it all, u need to get rid of the index.dat files as well. they keep a record of all ur history among other things even after u have erased the history and temps from IE. another one of microsofts privacy/internet security downfalls as there is absolutely no point in this after uve erased the temps and history . my zonealarm pro incorporates a "cache cleaner" that rids my machine of these
for more info on these index.dat files check this out http://www.acesoft.net/delete_index.dat_files.htm

best regards
