Hibernate XP

im having trouble getting my pc to hibernate + stay hibernated!
I hibernate as i should (hold shift ect) it will hibernate but then with no key press no mouse movement absolutely nothing touched it will boot right away?

i pressume there is some sort of setting somewhere stopping the hibernate? anyone got any suggestions?
