Can be done with IIS or Apache.


Would not recommend giving everyone your IP adress.

why, it can be changed, hack away dude

besides, your IP is available to anyone on this forum-------vb bulletin system with pics allowed remember?

and apache and IIS are huge, not incredibly simple and quick for quick temporary jobs that need done

well if you click on that link, then download the tiny little file and run it you can host stuff too in like 2 seconds-------the file in there is hosting itself EricB wanted to know how, thats the easiest way to give a tutorial-------with windows anyway

no, its one of many many freeware http servers, lots of ftp servers around too........apache and IIS are just two of many

writing your own aint hard either, very very basic socket programming, my visual basic 6 guide came with a basic one to play with
