Default Hex Editor?

Anyone know of a shareware Hex editor on the order of Win Hex? Need direct access to memory to fix FAT for file recovery. Specifically to recover images on a flash card.

TIA

(btw, this site probably doesn't support ace extentions, so I renamed the file too .zip.. just rename it to .ace it it should work).

Thanks for the quick response...
But I'm not familiar with *.ace files (and neither is my PC apparently). Can you enlighten me on that?
